Overview

The Innovation team is seeking an intern to assist with various tasks related to moving the conservative movement forward by reviewing, creating and presenting data on activity and tests of various grassroots and other methods. The Analytics intern is vital in maintaining key performance metrics, researching and drafting blog posts, powerpoints and other regular products. The Analytics intern will be responsible for helping maintain internal communications channels and helping to implement best practices for the organization. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Solid writing and Excel skills 
  • Able to make complex issues relatable 
  • Pursuing Undergraduate or Master's degree 
  • Contribute to statistical analysis for return on investment as it relates to levels of activism 
  • Collaborate with other departments and state chapters to identify needs and provide data quality assurance and useful tactical analysis 
  • Interpret data and develop recommendations on funnels of high quality activism 
  • Identify problematic areas in data and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data, working with database team 
  • Acquire and abstract data from existing internal or external data sources 
  • Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results 

Qualifications

  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, (May-August)
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit 
  • Performing research or assisting with special projects as directed 
  • Some Statistics or Economics background preferred but not required 
  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
