Overview

The Executive Assistant will support leadership team members as their funnel of all information, processes, and action. Day-to-day responsibilities include extensive scheduling with network of internal and external partners, clerical duties such as processing expense reports, time keeping, etc., and ownership of calendars and priorities. Their knowledge and partnership in advancing priorities will help principals optimize operations for teams and the organization at large. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, interest and investment in relationship building, and show the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and projects.  

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for leadership team 
  • Handle administrative tasks including expense reports, timekeeping, filing, catering orders, correspondence, calendar scheduling, and travel arrangements 
  • Manage rapidly shifting priorities in a professional and respectful manner 
  • Manage mailing and shipping operations as well as faxing, filing, and copying for leadership team 
  • Occasionally assist events and operation teams  
  • Assist on other special projects as needed and general office support 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant capacity is required 
  • At least 1-2 years of direct experience supporting executive level staff is preferred 
  • Experience working/scheduling on Capitol Hill preferred 
  • Appreciation of the free market system 
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving and organizational skills 
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Understanding each task is imperative to the overall strength of the organization 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite  
  • The willingness and desire to work independently, as well as collaboratively, and to take on additional responsibilities 
  • Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude
